As we emerge from the pandemic, we are seeing strong demand for Graphcore AI compute in China. A key element of our go-to-market strategy to meet this demand is our partnership with Digital China, which we announced today.
Digital China is one of China’s leading providers of cloud service and digital transformation solutions. This new partnership will accelerate the adoption of IPU technology within China, including in data centers and the cloud, as well as across core sectors for machine intelligence such as consumer internet, finance, healthcare and life sciences, automotive, AI-based education and smart retail.
As Graphcore’s master distributor in China, Digital China will help us build a network of AI specialist resellers and channel partners throughout China. For Chinese customers and innovators, this will mean better access to IPU systems, local AI expertise and engineering support.
The partnership with Digital China demonstrates Graphcore’s commitment to driving forward AI innovation in China. We plan to further expand our customer engineering team in China to allow us to collaborate effectively with our channel partners, and provide enhanced support and engineering expertise for AI practitioners.

Digital China will distribute Graphcore’s latest IPU systems. The IPU-POD4, IPU-POD16 DA and IPU-POD64 are all based on our second-generation IPU processor technology and foundational building block platform for AI scale-out, the IPU-M2000.
