Positions are on offer across all of Graphcore’s global offices: Bristol, Cambridge and London in the UK, Gdańsk, Poland and Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
The recruiting drive represents a 20% increase in Graphcore’s workforce and comes after the company joined SoftBank Group, one of the world’s leading investors in artificial intelligence.
“Graphcore is a place where people can come to do their very best work.” said Graphcore CEO Nigel Toon.
“Whether your expertise is in silicon, systems, software, AI research or any of the other functions that we are expanding, this is a chance to work at the leading-edge of your field.”
Details of the newly created roles and how to apply to Graphcore directly will be posted on the jobs section of Graphcore’s website. Potential candidates are also invited to submit their resume/CV directly to careers@graphcore.ai.
High skills employer
When Graphcore joined SoftBank Group, the company pledged that it would “continue to invest in the creation of high-skilled jobs spanning a range of disciplines”, particularly in the UK, where it is recognised as a leading employer in the country’s high tech economy.
Graphcore is playing a central role in SoftBank Group’s work to further the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
“Next generation semi-conductors and compute systems are essential in the AGI journey, we’re pleased to collaborate with Graphcore in this mission,” said Vikas J. Parekh, Managing Partner at SoftBank Investment Advisers, at the time of the acquisition, in June 2024.
