Industry leading products
Graphcore’s recently announced IPU-Machine M2000 and IPU-POD systems offer unparalleled compute performance, with a total cost of ownership that is far more attractive than the legacy technologies that have dominated machine intelligence until now.
Powered by Graphcore’s second-generation 7nm Colossus GC200 IPUs, the M2000 delivers one TeraFlop of machine intelligence compute in a compact 1U blade, with an RRP of $32,450.
For scale-up AI compute, Graphcore’s IPU-POD64 comprises 64 IPU processors across 16 IPU-Machine M2000s - able to work completely in parallel or independently, serving multiple users and tasks.
Larger, interconnected IPU-POD configurations of up to 64,000 IPU processors are capable of delivering up to 16 ExaFlops of compute for hyperscale users.
Rapidly increasing demand for Graphcore’s systems is being driven, not just by their superior performance on today’s most common machine learning workloads, but by their readiness for the next generation of AI models.
Because the IPU was designed and built specifically for next-generation machine intelligence compute, it has a natural advantage over other processor types when dealing with increasingly important AI characteristics such as sparsity.
The IPU’s architecture is also proving itself to be far more capable at those model types finding favour in the AI community, such as group and depthwise convolutions, and transformers.
